Bruce Sterling calls this "One of the Best William Gibson Interviews Ever"
It's probably because it's more of a "Feature" more than an interview. There are a few questions the author asks, but more are asked by an almost "deus ex machina" appearance of Sterling himself, asking the interviewer to ask the subject poignant questions.
He used to hang out in West Coast junk shops, cool-hunting. Not so much now. "Is eBay a much scarier thing than a pawnshop?" asks Bruce Sterling in an e-mail.
